Capital D, practice makes...well...
The Capital D season is over for the year as you may have noticed by the mayhem at the end of September and if you didn't, you haven't been following Speed Hero. We forgive you, this time. 
Over the off season there are a number of practice days, like today, a free for all of noobs and veterans trying to hone their skills are find a reason for an engine swap or new platform all together.

Capital Drift round 5
I was able to grab a handful of pics before my camera went the way of the buffalo. Western took it's toll August 28 2009, eating a RHD FD and an S13. 
Tregear was there consistent and committed. His runs against Koziur were some of the evenings best. 
Just too much sarsaparilla kept this saloon spinning. It was nice to see a 1j rocking Cressy compete though. 
Dorikaze and DMCC, weekend of champions!
As a prelude to the DMCC West event on Saturday, the Vancouver Island Dorikaze community decided to meet up. It was a great collection of enthusiasts and the turnout was pretty spectacular.

Capital Drift Round 4
I headed out to Capital Drift round 4 at Western Speedway July 10. The turnout was small, the action was not. If you weren't there then you should know that you are killing drifting.
