After a game of car meet roulette, the first Dorikaze meet of 2010 fell into place.
It was good to see Capital D Mike back in his FD. After backing it into the wall at Western it looked like it's drift days were numbered. There's still some work to be done but it should be track ready for the January 17th practice. Jmin's pimp Cressy made a showing but Warren Foster's 86 was noticeably missing, it was in the middle of it's Million Dollar Man impression and if you get all the way through my writing you may get a look at it.
I'm envious of the 5spd the yellow e70 wagon's rocking. but my Zombirolla is almost rid of all signs of autofail as well.
You may remember Capital D Phil's 86 wreckage from the November 22 practice, the heart and soul of this car lives on with a new owner in a new body. Benr and friends pieced this white 86 together very quickly out of two Rollas, two Rollas past their prime.
Ben's engine bay was obviously moving to fast to get a crisp picture.
I want to give a quick shout out and a huge thank you to both Dugwillis and Gpenny. Dug was nice enough to send me a GTS drive shaft and Gpenny hauled it down island to me. I'm that much closer to putting my Rolla into a wall, thanks guys. Make sure you check out the videos, you'll get a taste of what two island locked psychos do to poor Japanese classics.
The first drift practice of 2010 is happening less than a week from today. Stay tuned. If you're on Vancouver island, get your ass there.
Hey, my wagon!
