School Car: Next Step Game Plan.

Finding a Rack swap is quite important now!
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="625"] Customize all the things! My helmet looked a little blank, so I freshened it up a bit.[/caption]

It's the next step in my school cars progress!!!! The steering box is the next step in making this car feel better to drive. I picked up a steering rack so far, but the subframe, steering column and other parts are still being...

Twenty Seven: Drift School beginnings?

10 days ago I picked up my 27th Corolla I've ever owned! It's a 1982 TE72 with 267,000km on it. 3TC automatic. This purchase was justified in my brain by the added duty beyond a daily driver, of being a tool of education, a racing school student car. I'd been giving formal and information racing instruction during our drifting events for years now. For some it was successful for others, not so much. I realized recently what a major differentiating factor was: the cars! Some students showed up in good working cars, that...

Loops and Hoops

Depression does weird things. My morals and view points on the value of life have changed so dramatically in the past few years. I now believe that no one has any real value, there is no real true meaning to life, there is no one true god/any at all, blah blah blah Nihilism to the extreme. It's truly how I feel, which is frustrating, but how? I don't generally find many things fun anymore. The idea of building and owning a car isn't exciting really, and it shows in my racecar sitting for months. Sure it'd be fun to drive...

Flagship UCF10

A few hours later we arrived to find a Dug and a lovely lexus. After a few instructions we were back on the road coming back to Vic. The grinding was the brakes. No pad left on the front right! After the drive Faith commented "I don't...

1984 Murder Spree

Continuing the scooter rescue, I had picked up this 1984 Honda Spree for free from Nanaimo. It was in severely rough shape, having not followed the recommened "Not for offroad use" sticker posted below the gauge cluster. Another sticker posted on these scooters is the tune of "Don't modify, you'll just make it slower." And it's the truth, for those of you just getting into scooters or other 2 stroke engines, there is a difference in your approach to modifying a 2 stroke versus a 4 stroke. Yes, it's true, the more an engine breathes, the better the performance, however...
